About

MemLok Bible Memory System was founded in 1989 by Drake Mariani.

Drake’s goal was to create an effective tool to encourage people of all ages toward a sustainable, lifetime commitment of memorizing God’s Word. The MemLok Bible Memory System is used in scores of countries.

The first MemLok Bible Memory System was introduced as a notebook with memory cards. In 1990, MemLok was introduced in the NASB translation. Between 1991 and 1999, MemLok added the NIV, KJV, and NKJV translations.

MemLok began developing a memory system for the Windows computer operating system.  The ESV translation was added in 2019. MemLok has been updated regularly since 2000.

In October 2015, MemLok launched a beta version of its first mobile app for Apple iOS and Google Android.  Bible Memory by MemLok mobile app has been downloaded by over 150,000 users in over 140 countries.
